Why we began

What felt ordinary then feels essential now.

Growing up, authentic Egyptian loofahs were part of our family’s routines, often brought home from trips to Egypt.

When those familiar loofahs became harder to find, we missed the dense texture, durability, and simple ritual we had always known.

We started Nile Scrubs to bring that experience back—responsibly sourced, thoughtfully shaped, and made for modern body care.
